2.The Service
StationScope assists renters located in the United States in identifying neighborhoods aligned with their transit and lifestyle preferences across seven metropolitan areas: New York, Chicago, Washington DC, San Francisco, Boston, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles. Recommendations are advisory in nature. They do not constitute financial advice and are not real-estate listings.
3.Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and possess the legal capacity to enter into contracts in your jurisdiction in order to use the Service.
4.Pricing and Payment
StationScope offers two one-time digital purchases. Tandem mode requires a one-time payment of fifteen United States dollars ($15 USD) per group in order to unlock the multi-member recommendation flow. In Solo mode, your first neighborhood recommendation is free; unlocking the optional Refine Further feature, which lets you continue refining the recommendation, requires a one-time payment of five United States dollars ($5 USD). Prices are stated in United States dollars and may change for future purchases. All payments are processed by Stripe in accordance with Stripe's terms.
5.Refunds
Tandem and Refine Further purchases are one-time digital products that grant access immediately upon payment. For this reason, all sales are final and payments are non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law. If you were charged in error, were charged more than once for the same purchase, or did not receive the access you paid for, contact StationScope at stationscope@gmail.com and StationScope will review the billing issue.
6.No Warranty
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Recommendations are generated from United States Census public data, rent estimates, and AI-assisted analysis. StationScope does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any recommendation. Users should independently verify rents, commute times, and neighborhood specifics prior to signing a lease or making any housing decision.
7.Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, StationScope shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. StationScope's aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount, if any, paid by you to StationScope in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
8.Modifications
StationScope may amend these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service following the effective date of any amendment constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.
9.Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States of America, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California, and the parties consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
